Hosea 5
1“ Listen 2 Listen, house of Israel, 2 and give ear, house of the king! 1 For the judgement is against you; 2 for you have been a snare at Mizpah, 2 and a net spread on Tabor. 1
2The 2 but I discipline all of them. 1
3I 2 and Israel is not hidden from me; 1 for now, Ephraim, you have played the prostitute. 2 Israel is defiled. 1
4Their 2 for the spirit of prostitution is within them, 2 and they don’t know the LORD. 1
5The 2 Therefore Israel and Ephraim will stumble in their iniquity. 2 Judah also will stumble with them. 1
6They 2 but they won’t find him. 2 He has withdrawn himself from them. 1
7They 2 for they have borne illegitimate children. 2 Now the new moon will devour them with their fields. 1
8“ Blow 2 and the trumpet in Ramah! 2 Sound a battle cry at Beth Aven, behind you, Benjamin! 1
9Ephraim will 2 Amongst the tribes of Israel, I have made known that which will surely be. 1
10The 2 I will pour out my wrath on them like water. 1
11Ephraim is 2 he is crushed in judgement, 2 because he is intent in his pursuit of idols. 1
12Therefore I 2 and to the house of Judah like rottenness. 1
13“ When 2 and Judah his wound, 2 then Ephraim went to Assyria, 2 and sent to King Jareb: 1 but he is not able to heal you, 2 neither will he cure you of your wound. 1
14For 2 and like a young lion to the house of Judah. 1 I myself will tear in pieces and go away. 2 I will carry off, and there will be no one to deliver. 1
15I 2 until they acknowledge their offence, 2 and seek my face. 2 In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.”
