For 1 “ We have heard a voice of trembling; 2 a voice of fear, and not of peace. 1

Ask 2 Why do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail, 2 and all faces are turned pale? 1

Alas 2 It is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; 2 but he will be saved out of it. 1

It 2 and will burst your bonds. 2 Strangers will no more make them their bondservants; 1

but 2 and David their king, 2 whom I will raise up to them. 1

Therefore 2 Don’t be dismayed, Israel. 1 For, behold, I will save you from afar, 2 and save your offspring from the land of their captivity. 1 Jacob will return, 2 and will be quiet and at ease. 2 No one will make him afraid. 1

For 2 for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, 2 but I will not make a full end of you; 1 but I will correct you in measure, 2 and will in no way leave you unpunished.”

For 1 “ Your hurt is incurable. 2 Your wound is grievous. 1

There 2 that you may be bound up. 2 You have no healing medicines. 1

All 2 They don’t seek you. 1 For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, 2 with the chastisement of a cruel one, 1 for the greatness of your iniquity, 2 because your sins were increased. 1

Why 2 Your pain is incurable. 1 For the greatness of your iniquity, 2 because your sins have increased, 2 I have done these things to you. 1

Therefore 2 All your adversaries, everyone of them, will go into captivity. 1 Those who plunder you will be plunder. 2 I will make all who prey on you become prey. 1

For 2 and I will heal you of your wounds,” says the LORD, 1 “ because they have called you an outcast, 2 saying, ‘ It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’”

The 1 “ Behold, I will reverse the captivity of Jacob’s tents, 2 and have compassion on his dwelling places. 1 The city will be built on its own hill, 2 and the palace will be inhabited in its own place. 1

Thanksgiving 2 with the voice of those who make merry. 1 I will multiply them, 2 and they will not be few; 1 I will also glorify them, 2 and they will not be small. 1

Their 2 and their congregation will be established before me. 2 I will punish all who oppress them. 1

Their 2 and their ruler will proceed from amongst them. 1 I will cause him to draw near, 2 and he will approach me; 2 for who is he who has had boldness to approach me?” says the LORD. 1

“ You 2 and I will be your God. 1

Behold 2 a sweeping storm; 2 it will burst on the head of the wicked. 1

The 2 and until he has performed the intentions of his heart. 2 In the latter days you will understand it.”
