Micah 3
1I 1 “ Please listen, you heads of Jacob, 2 and rulers of the house of Israel: 2 Isn’t it for you to know justice? 1
2You 2 and love the evil; 2 who tear off their skin, 2 and their flesh from off their bones; 2
3who 2 and peel their skin from off them, 2 and break their bones, 2 and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, 2 and as meat within the cauldron. 1
4Then 2 but he will not answer them. 1 Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time, 2 because they made their deeds evil.”

6“ Therefore 2 and it is dark to you, that you may not divine; 2 and the sun will go down on the prophets, 2 and the day will be black over them. 1
7The 2 and the diviners confounded. 1 Yes, they shall all cover their lips, 2 for there is no answer from God.” + 3:7 The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “ אֱלֹהִ֑ים” (Elohim). 1
8But 2 and of judgement, and of might, 2 to declare to Jacob his disobedience, 2 and to Israel his sin. 1
9Please 2 and rulers of the house of Israel, 2 who abhor justice, 2 and pervert all equity, 2
10who 2 and Jerusalem with iniquity. 1
11Her 2 and her priests teach for a price, 2 and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money; 1 yet they lean on the LORD, and say, 2 “Isn’t the LORD amongst us? 2 No disaster will come on us.” 1
12Therefore 2 and Jerusalem will become heaps of rubble, 2 and the mountain of the temple like the high places of a forest.
