Micah 5
1Now 2 daughter of troops. 1 He has laid siege against us. 2 They will strike the judge of Israel with a rod on the cheek. 1
2But 2 being small amongst the clans of Judah, 2 out of you one will come out to me who is to be ruler in Israel; 2 whose goings out are from of old, from ancient times. 1
3Therefore 2 Then the rest of his brothers will return to the children of Israel. 1
4He 2 in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. 2 They will live, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth. 1
5He 2 and when he marches through our fortresses, 2 then we will raise against him seven shepherds, 2 and eight leaders of men. 1
6They 2 and the land of Nimrod in its gates. 1 He will deliver us from the Assyrian, 2 when he invades our land, 2 and when he marches within our border. 1
7The 2 like dew from the LORD, 2 like showers on the grass, 2 that don’t wait for man 2 nor wait for the sons of men. 1
8The 2 amongst many peoples, 2 like a lion amongst the animals of the forest, 2 like a young lion amongst the flocks of sheep; 2 who, if he goes through, treads down and tears in pieces, 2 and there is no one to deliver. 1
9Let 2 and let all of your enemies be cut off. 1
10“ It 2 “ that I will cut off your horses from amongst you 2 and will destroy your chariots. 1
11I 2 and will tear down all your strongholds. 1
12I 2 You shall have no soothsayers. 1
13I 2 and you shall no more worship the work of your hands. 1
14I 2 and I will destroy your cities. 1
15I will execute vengeance in anger 2 and wrath on the nations that didn’t listen.”
