Proverbs 16
1The 2 but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD. 1
2All 2 but the LORD weighs the motives. 1
3Commit 2 and your plans shall succeed. 1

5Everyone 2 they shall certainly not be unpunished. 1
6By 2 By the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. 1

9A 2 but the LORD directs his steps. 1
10Inspired judgements are 2 He shall not betray his mouth. 1
11Honest 2 all the weights in the bag are his work. 1
12It 2 for the throne is established by righteousness. 1
13Righteous 2 They value one who speaks the truth. 1
14The 2 but a wise man will pacify it. 1
15In 2 His favour is like a cloud of the spring rain. 1
16How 2 Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver. 1
17The 2 He who keeps his way preserves his soul. 1
18Pride 2 and an arrogant spirit before a fall. 1
19It 2 than to divide the plunder with the proud. 1
20He 2 Whoever trusts in the LORD is blessed. 1
21The 2 Pleasantness of the lips promotes instruction. 1
22Understanding 2 but the punishment of fools is their folly. 1
23The 2 and adds learning to his lips. 1
24Pleasant 2 sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. 1
25There 2 but in the end it leads to death. 1
26The 2 for his mouth urges him on. 1
27A 2 His speech is like a scorching fire. 1
28A 2 A whisperer separates close friends. 1
29A 2 and leads him in a way that is not good. 1
30One who winks 2 one who compresses his lips, is bent on evil. 1
31Grey hair 2 It is attained by a life of righteousness. 1
