Proverbs 8
Doesn’t wisdom 2 Doesn’t understanding raise her voice? 1
On 2 where the paths meet, she stands. 1
Beside 2 at the entry doors, she cries aloud: 1
“ I 2 I send my voice to the sons of mankind. 1
You 2 You fools, be of an understanding heart! 1
Hear 2 The opening of my lips is for right things. 1
For 2 Wickedness is an abomination to my lips. 1
All 2 There is nothing crooked or perverse in them. 1
They 2 right to those who find knowledge. 1
Receive 2 knowledge rather than choice gold. 1
For 2 All the things that may be desired can’t be compared to it. 1
“ I 2 Find out knowledge and discretion. 1
The 2 I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth. 1
Counsel 2 I have understanding and power. 1
By 2 and princes decree justice. 1
By 2 nobles, and all the righteous rulers of the earth. 1
I 2 Those who seek me diligently will find me. 1
With me are riches 2 enduring wealth, and prosperity. 1
My fruit 2 my yield than choice silver. 1
I 2 in the middle of the paths of justice, 1
that 2 I fill their treasuries. 1
“ The 2 before his deeds of old. 1
I was 2 before the earth existed. 1
When there were 2 when there were no springs abounding with water. 1
Before 2 before the hills, I was born; 1
while 2 nor the beginning of the dust of the world. 1
When 2 When he set a circle on the surface of the deep, 1
when he established the 2 when the springs of the deep became strong, 1
when 2 that the waters should not violate his commandment, 2 when he marked out the foundations of the earth, 1
then 2 I was a delight day by day, 2 always rejoicing before him, 1
rejoicing 2 My delight was with the sons of men. 1
“ Now 2 for blessed are those who keep my ways. 1
Hear 2 Don’t refuse it. 1
Blessed is 2 watching daily at my gates, 2 waiting at my door posts. 1
For 2 and will obtain favour from the LORD. 1
But 2 All those who hate me love death.”
