Deuteronomy 32

Give 1 And let the earth hear the words of my mouth. 1

My 1 My speech shall distill as the dew, 1 As the small rain upon the tender grass, 1 And as the showers upon the herb. 1

For 1 Ascribe ye greatness unto our God. 1

The 1 For all his ways are justice: 1 A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, 1 Just and right is he. 1

They 1 They are a perverse and crooked generation. 1

Do 1 O foolish people and unwise? 1 Is not he thy father that hath bought thee? 1 He hath made thee, and established thee. 1

Remember 1 Consider the years of many generations: 1 Ask thy father, and he will show thee; 1 Thine elders, and they will tell thee. 1

When 1 When he separated the children of men, 1 He set the bounds of the peoples 1 According to the number of the children of Israel. 1

For 1 Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. 1

He 1 And in the waste howling wilderness; 1 He compassed him about, he cared for him, 1 He kept him as the apple of his eye. 1

As 1 That fluttereth over her young, 1 He spread abroad his wings, he took them, 1 He bare them on his pinions. 1

Jehovah 1 And there was no foreign god with him. 1

He 1 And he did eat the increase of the field; 1 And he made him to suck honey out of the rock, 1 And oil out of the flinty rock; 1

Butter 1 With fat of lambs, 1 And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, 1 With the finest of the wheat; 1 And of the blood of the grape thou drankest wine. 1

But Jeshurun 1 Thou art waxed fat, thou art grown thick, thou art become sleek; 1 Then he forsook God who made him, 1 And lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. 1

They 1 With abominations provoked they him to anger. 1

They 1 To gods that they knew not, 1 To new gods that came up of late, 1 Which your fathers dreaded not. 1

Of 1 And hast forgotten God that gave thee birth. 1

And 1 Because of the provocation of his sons and his daughters. 1

And 1 I will see what their end shall be: 1 For they are a very perverse generation, 1 Children in whom is no faithfulness. 1

They 1 They have provoked me to anger with their vanities: 1 And I will move them to jealousy with those that are not a people; 1 I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. 1

For 1 And burneth unto the lowest Sheol, 1 And devoureth the earth with its increase, 1 And setteth on fire the foundations of the mountains. 1

I 1 I will spend mine arrows upon them: 1

They shall be wasted 1 And bitter destruction; 1 And the teeth of beasts will I send upon them, 1 With the poison of crawling things of the dust. 1

Without 1 And in the chambers terror; 1 It shall destroy both young man and virgin, 1 The suckling with the man of gray hairs. 1

I said, I would scatter them afar, 1 I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men; 1

Were 1 Lest their adversaries should judge amiss, 1 Lest they should say, Our hand is exalted, 1 And Jehovah hath not done all this. 1

For 1 And there is no understanding in them. 1

Oh 1 That they would consider their latter end! 1

How 1 And two put ten thousand to flight, 1 Except their Rock had sold them, 1 And Jehovah had delivered them up? 1

For 1 Even our enemies themselves being judges. 1

For 1 And of the fields of Gomorrah: 1 Their grapes are grapes of gall, 1 Their clusters are bitter: 1

Their wine 1 And the cruel venom of asps. 1

Is 1 Sealed up among my treasures? 1

Vengeance 1 At the time when their foot shall slide: 1 For the day of their calamity is at hand, 1 And the things that are to come upon them shall make haste. 1

For 1 And repent himself for his servants; 1 When he seeth that their power is gone, 1 And there is none remaining, shut up or left at large. 1

And 1 The rock in which they took refuge; 1

Which 1 And drank the wine of their drink offering? 1 Let them rise up and help you, 1 Let them be your protection. 1

See 1 And there is no god with me: 1 I kill, and I make alive; 1 I wound, and I heal; 1 And there is none that can deliver out of my hand. 1

For 1 And say, As I live forever, 1

If I 1 And my hand take hold on judgment; 1 I will render vengeance to mine adversaries, 1 And will recompense them that hate me. 1

I 1 And my sword shall devour flesh; 1 With the blood of the slain and the captives, 1 From the head of the leaders of the enemy. 1

Rejoice 1 For he will avenge the blood of his servants, 1 And will render vengeance to his adversaries, 1 And will make expiation for his land, for his people.
