Genesis 1

12The 2 seed-bearing plants, 2 and trees with seed-bearing fruit. 3 God saw that it was good. 1

14Then 2 to separate the night from the day. 2 Let them be signs to mark the seasons, the days, and the years. 2
15Let 3 It was so. 2
16So 2 The greater to rule the day and the lesser to rule the night. 1 God made the stars also.

18to 2 and to separate light from darkness. 3 God saw that it was good. 1

20Then God 2 and let birds fly over the earth in the open dome of the sky.” 2
21God created 2 all kinds of living, moving creatures with which the waters teem, 2 and all kinds of winged birds. 3 God saw that it was good. 2
22He 2 increase, fill the oceans, 2 and let the birds increase on the land.” 1

24Then 2 cattle and reptiles and wild beasts.” 3 It was so. 2
25So 2 and the cattle, and everything that crawls upon the ground. 3 God saw that it was good. 1
26Then 2 Let them rule over the fish of the sea, 2 the birds of the sky, the cattle, the whole earth, 2 and all the reptiles that crawl upon the ground.” 2
27So God created 3 he created them in the image of God. 2 He created them male and female. 1
28Then 2 “ Be fruitful, grow in number, 2 fill the earth and govern it; 2 rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, 2 and over every living thing that crawls on the ground,” 1
29God 2 throughout all the earth, 2 and every tree that has seed-bearing fruit. 2 They will be food for you, 2
30and 2 and to everything that crawls on the earth – 2 everything with the breath of life in it, 2 I give every green plant for food.” 3 It was so. 2
31When 2 he perceived that it was very good. 1 There was an evening and a morning, making the sixth day.
