Zechariah 10
1Ask 2 Yahweh who makes storm clouds, 2 and he gives rain showers to everyone for the plants in the field. 1
2For 2 and the diviners have seen a lie; 2 and they have told false dreams. 1 They comfort in vain. 2 Therefore they go their way like sheep. 2 They are oppressed, because there is no shepherd. 1
3My 2 and I will punish the male goats, 2 for Yahweh of Armies has visited his flock, the house of Judah, 2 and will make them as his majestic horse in the battle. 1
4From 2 from him the tent peg, 2 from him the battle bow, 2 from him every ruler together. 2
5They 2 treading down muddy streets in the battle. 1 They will fight, because Yahweh is with them. 2 The riders on horses will be confounded. 1
6“ I 2 and I will save the house of Joseph. 1 I will bring them back, 2 for I have mercy on them. 1 They will be as though I had not cast them off, 2 for I am Yahweh their God, and I will hear them. 1
7Ephraim will 2 and their heart will rejoice as through wine. 1 Yes, their children will see it and rejoice. 2 Their heart will be glad in Yahweh. 1
8I 2 for I have redeemed them. 2 They will increase as they were before. 1
9I 2 They will remember me in far countries. 2 They will live with their children and will return. 1
10I 2 and gather them out of Assyria. 1 I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; 2 and there won’t be room enough for them. 1
11He 2 and will strike the waves in the sea, 2 and all the depths of the Nile will dry up; 2 and the pride of Assyria will be brought down, 2 and the scepter of Egypt will depart. 1
12I 2 They will walk up and down in his name,” says Yahweh.
