1By 2 I sought him whom my soul loves. 2 I sought him, but I didn’t find him. 1
2I 2 in the streets and in the squares I will seek him whom my soul loves. 2 I sought him, but I didn’t find him. 1

4I 2 when I found him whom my soul loves. 1 I held him, and would not let him go, 2 until I had brought him into my mother’s house, 2 into the room of her who conceived me. 1
5I 2 by the roes, or by the hinds of the field, 2 that you not stir up nor awaken love, 2 until it so desires. 1
6Who 2 perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, 2 with all spices of the merchant? 1
7Behold 2 Sixty mighty men are around it, 2 of the mighty men of Israel. 1
8They 2 Every man has his sword on his thigh, 2 because of fear in the night. 1
9King 2 of the wood of Lebanon. 1
10He 2 its bottom of gold, its seat of purple, 2 the middle of it being paved with love, 2 from the daughters of Jerusalem. 1
11Go 2 with the crown with which his mother has crowned him, 2 in the day of his weddings, 2 in the day of the gladness of his heart.
