1Then 1

2“ Even 2 His hand is heavy in spite of my groaning. 1

3Oh 2 That I might come even to his seat! 1

4I 2 and fill my mouth with arguments. 1

5I 2 and understand what he would tell me. 1

6Would 2 No, but he would listen to me. 1

7There 2 so I should be delivered forever from my judge. 1

8“ If 2 If I go west, I can’t find him. 1

9He 2 He turns south, but I can’t catch a glimpse of him. 1

10But 2 When he has tried me, I will come out like gold. 1

11My 2 I have kept his way, and not turned away. 1

12I 2 I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. 1

13But 2 What his soul desires, even that he does. 1

14For 2 Many such things are with him. 1

15Therefore 2 When I consider, I am afraid of him. 1

16For 2 The Almighty has terrified me. 1

17Because 2 neither did he cover the thick darkness from my face.
