Proverbs 20
1Wine 2 Whoever is led astray by them is not wise. 1
2The 2 He who provokes him to anger forfeits his own life. 1
3It 2 but every fool will be quarrelling. 1
4The 2 therefore he shall beg in harvest, and have nothing. 1
5Counsel 2 but a man of understanding will draw it out. 1
6Many 2 but who can find a faithful man? 1
7A 2 Blessed are his children after him. 1
8A 2 scatters away all evil with his eyes. 1
9Who 2 I am clean and without sin”? 1
10Differing weights and 2 both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD. 1
11Even 2 whether his work is pure, and whether it is right. 1
12The 2 the LORD has made even both of them. 1
13Don’t love sleep 2 Open your eyes, and you shall be satisfied with bread. 1
14“ It 2 but when he is gone his way, then he boasts. 1
15There 2 but the lips of knowledge are a rare jewel. 1
16Take 2 and hold him in pledge for a wayward woman. 1
17Fraudulent food 2 but afterwards his mouth is filled with gravel. 1
18Plans 2 by wise guidance you wage war! 1
19He 2 therefore don’t keep company with him who opens wide his lips. 1
20Whoever curses 2 his lamp shall be put out in blackness of darkness. 1
21An 2 won’t be blessed in the end. 1
22Don’t say, “ I 2 Wait for the LORD, and he will save you. 1
23The 2 and dishonest scales are not pleasing. 1
24A 2 how then can man understand his way? 1
25It is a 2 then later to consider his vows. 1
26A 2 and drives the threshing wheel over them. 1
27The 2 searching all his innermost parts. 1
28Love 2 His throne is sustained by love. 1
29The 2 The splendour of old men is their grey hair. 1
30Wounding 2 and beatings purge the innermost parts.
