2 Samuel 22
1And
2and 1 Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine; 1
3God 1 My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge; 1 My savior, thou savest me from violence. 1
4I 1 So shall I be saved from mine enemies. 1
5For 1 The floods of ungodliness made me afraid: 1
6The 1 The snares of death came upon me. 1
7In 1 Yea, I called unto my God: 1 And he heard my voice out of his temple, 1 And my cry came into his ears. 1
8Then 1 The foundations of heaven quaked 1 And were shaken, because he was wroth. 1
9There 1 And fire out of his mouth devoured: 1 Coals were kindled by it. 1
10He 1 And thick darkness was under his feet. 1
11And 1 Yea, he was seen upon the wings of the wind. 1
12And 1 Gathering of waters, thick clouds of the skies. 1
13At the 1 Coals of fire were kindled. 1
14Jehovah 1 And the Most High uttered his voice. 1
15And 1 Lightning, and discomfited them. 1
16Then 1 The foundations of the world were laid bare, 1 By the rebuke of Jehovah, 1 At the blast of the breath of his nostrils. 1
17He 1 He drew me out of many waters; 1
18He 1 From them that hated me; for they were too mighty for me. 1
19They 1 But Jehovah was my stay. 1
20He 1 He delivered me, because he delighted in me. 1
21Jehovah 1 According to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. 1
22For 1 And have not wickedly departed from my God. 1
23For 1 And as for his statutes, I did not depart from them. 1
24I 1 And I kept myself from mine iniquity. 1
25Therefore 1 According to my cleanness in his eyesight. 1
26With 1 With the perfect man thou wilt show thyself perfect; 1
27With 1 And with the perverse thou wilt show thyself froward. 1
28And 1 But thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down. 1
29For 1 And Jehovah will lighten my darkness. 1
30For 1 By my God do I leap over a wall. 1
31As 1 The word of Jehovah is tried; 1 He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in him. 1
32For 1 And who is a rock, save our God? 1
33God is 1 And he guideth the perfect in his way. 1
34He 1 And setteth me upon my high places. 1
35He 1 So that mine arms do bend a bow of brass. 1
36Thou 1 And thy gentleness hath made me great. 1
37Thou hast enlarged 1 And my feet have not slipped. 1
38I 1 Neither did I turn again till they were consumed. 1
39And 1 Yea, they are fallen under my feet. 1
40For 1 Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. 1
41Thou 1 That I might cut off them that hate me. 1
42They 1 Even unto Jehovah, but he answered them not. 1
43Then did I beat 1 I did crush them as the mire of the streets, and did spread them abroad. 1
44Thou 1 Thou hast kept me to be the head of the nations: 1 A people whom I have not known shall serve me. 1
45The 1 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me. 1
46The 1 And shall come trembling out of their close places. 1
47Jehovah 1 And exalted be God, the rock of my salvation, 1
48Even the 1 And that bringeth down peoples under me, 1
49And 1 Yea, thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me; 1 Thou deliverest me from the violent man. 1
50Therefore 1 And will sing praises unto thy name. 1
51Great 1 And showeth lovingkindness to his anointed, 1 To David and to his seed, forevermore.
