2 Samuel 23

1Now 1 David the son of Jesse saith, 1 And the man who was raised on high saith, 1 The anointed of the God of Jacob, 1 And the sweet psalmist of Israel: 1

2The 1 And his word was upon my tongue. 1

3The 1 The Rock of Israel spake to me: 1 One that ruleth over men righteously, 1 That ruleth in the fear of God, 1

4He shall be as 1 A morning without clouds, 1 When the tender grass springeth out of the earth, 1 Through clear shining after rain. 1

5Verily 1 Yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, 1 Ordered in all things, and sure: 1 For it is all my salvation, and all my desire, 1 Although he maketh it not to grow. 1

6But 1 Because they cannot be taken with the hand; 1

7But the 1 Must be armed with iron and the staff of a spear: 1 And they shall be utterly burned with fire in their place.
