Proverbs 10
1The 1 A wise son makes a glad father; 2 but a foolish son brings grief to his mother. 1
2Treasures of 2 but righteousness delivers from death. 1
3Yahweh 2 but he thrusts away the desire of the wicked. 1
4He 2 but the hand of the diligent brings wealth. 1
5He 2 but he who sleeps during the harvest is a son who causes shame. 1
6Blessings 2 but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. 1
7The 2 but the name of the wicked will rot. 1
8The 2 but a chattering fool will fall. 1
9He 2 but he who perverts his ways will be found out. 1
10One who winks 2 but a chattering fool will fall. 1
11The 2 but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. 1
12Hatred 2 but love covers all wrongs. 1
13Wisdom 2 but a rod is for the back of him who is void of understanding. 1
14Wise 2 but the mouth of the foolish is near ruin. 1
15The 2 The destruction of the poor is their poverty. 1
16The 2 The increase of the wicked leads to sin. 1
17He 2 but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray. 1
18He 2 He who utters a slander is a fool. 1
19In 2 but he who restrains his lips does wisely. 1

21The 2 but the foolish die for lack of understanding. 1
22Yahweh 2 and he adds no trouble to it. 1
23It 2 but wisdom is a man of understanding’s pleasure. 1
24What 2 but the desire of the righteous will be granted. 1
25When 2 but the righteous stand firm forever. 1
26As 2 so is the sluggard to those who send him. 1
27The 2 but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. 1
28The 2 but the hope of the wicked will perish. 1
29The 2 but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity. 1
30The 2 but the wicked will not dwell in the land. 1
31The 2 but the perverse tongue will be cut off. 1
