Amos 3
Hear 1
“ I 2 Therefore I will punish you for all of your sins.” 1
Do two 2 unless they have agreed? 1
Will 2 when he has no prey? 1 Does a young lion cry out of his den, 2 if he has caught nothing? 1
Can 2 where no snare is set for him? 1 Does a snare spring up from the ground, 2 when there is nothing to catch? 1
Does 2 without the people being afraid? 1 Does evil happen to a city, 2 and the LORD hasn’t done it? 1
Surely 2 unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets. 1
The 2 Who will not fear? 1 The Lord GOD has spoken. 2 Who can but prophesy? 1
Proclaim 2 and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, 1 and say, “Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria, 2 and see what unrest is in her, 2 and what oppression is amongst them.” 1
“ Indeed 2 “ Who hoard plunder and loot in their palaces.”
Therefore 1 “ An adversary will overrun the land; 2 and he will pull down your strongholds, 2 and your fortresses will be plundered.”
The 1 “ As the shepherd rescues out of the mouth of the lion two legs, 2 or a piece of an ear, 2 so shall the children of Israel be rescued who sit in Samaria on the corner of a couch, 2 and on the silken cushions of a bed.”
“ Listen 1
“ For 2 I will also visit the altars of Bethel; 2 and the horns of the altar will be cut off, 2 and fall to the ground. 1
I 2 and the houses of ivory will perish, 2 and the great houses will have an end,” says the LORD.
