Job 30
“ But 2 whose fathers I considered unworthy to put with my sheep dogs. 1
Of 2 men in whom ripe age has perished? 1
They 2 They gnaw the dry ground, in the gloom of waste and desolation. 1
They 2 The roots of the broom tree are their food. 1
They 2 They cry after them as after a thief, 1
so that 2 and in holes of the earth and of the rocks. 1
They 2 They are gathered together under the nettles. 1
They 2 They were flogged out of the land. 1
“ Now 2 Yes, I am a byword to them. 1
They 2 and don’t hesitate to spit in my face. 1
For 2 and they have thrown off restraint before me. 1
On 2 They thrust aside my feet. 2 They cast their ways of destruction up against me. 1
They 2 They promote my destruction 2 without anyone’s help. 1
As 2 They roll themselves in amid the ruin. 1
Terrors 2 They chase my honour as the wind. 2 My welfare has passed away as a cloud. 1
“ Now 2 Days of affliction have taken hold of me. 1
In 2 and the pains that gnaw me take no rest. 1
My 2 It binds me about as the collar of my tunic. 1
He 2 I have become like dust and ashes. 1
I 2 I stand up, and you gaze at me. 1
You 2 With the might of your hand you persecute me. 1
You 2 You dissolve me in the storm. 1
For 2 to the house appointed for all living. 1
“However doesn’t one 2 Or in his calamity therefore cry for help? 1
Didn’t I 2 Wasn’t my soul grieved for the needy? 1
When 2 When I waited for light, darkness came. 1
My 2 Days of affliction have come on me. 1
I 2 I stand up in the assembly, and cry for help. 1
I 2 and a companion to ostriches. 1
My 2 My bones are burnt with heat. 1
Therefore 2 and my pipe into the voice of those who weep.
