2Hear 2 Listen, O earth, and all that is therein. 1 Let the Lord + 1:2 The word translated “Lord” (mixed case) is “Adonai.” GOD be witness against you, 2 the Lord from his holy temple. 1
3For הִנֵּה”, means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection. the 2 and will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. 1
4The 2 and the valleys split apart like wax before the fire, 2 like waters that are poured down a steep place. 1
5“ All 2 and for the sins of the house of Israel. 1 What is the disobedience of Jacob? 2 Isn’t it Samaria? 1 And what are the high places of Judah? 2 Aren’t they Jerusalem? 1
6Therefore I 2 like places for planting vineyards; 1 and I will pour down its stones into the valley, 2 and I will uncover its foundations. 1
