Song of Solomon 8

Oh 1 That sucked the breasts of my mother! 1 When I should find thee without, I would kiss thee; 1 Yea, and none would despise me. 1

I 1 Who would instruct me; 1 I would cause thee to drink of spiced wine, 1 Of the juice of my pomegranate. 1

His 1 And his right hand should embrace me. 1

I 1 That ye stir not up, nor awake my love, 1 Until he please. 1

Who 1 Leaning upon her beloved? 1 Under the apple tree I awakened thee: 1 There thy mother was in travail with thee, 1 There was she in travail that brought thee forth. 1

Set 1 As a seal upon thine arm: 1 For love is strong as death; 1 Jealousy is cruel as Sheol; 1 The flashes thereof are flashes of fire, 1 A very flame of Jehovah. 1

Many 1 Neither can floods drown it: 1 If a man would give all the substance of his house for love, 1 He would utterly be contemned. 1

We 1 And she hath no breasts: 1 What shall we do for our sister 1 In the day when she shall be spoken for? 1

If 1 We will build upon her a turret of silver: 1 And if she be a door, 1 We will enclose her with boards of cedar. 1

I 1 Then was I in his eyes as one that found peace. 1

Solomon 1 He let out the vineyard unto keepers; 1 Every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver. 1

My 1 Thou, O Solomon, shalt have the thousand, 1 And those that keep the fruit thereof two hundred. 1

Thou 1 The companions hearken for thy voice: 1 Cause me to hear it. 1

Make 1 And be thou like to a roe or to a young hart 1 Upon the mountains of spices.
