Isaiah 52
Awake 2 Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city, 2 for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you. 1
Shake 2 Arise, sit up, Jerusalem! 2 Release yourself from the bonds of your neck, captive daughter of Zion! 1
For 2 and you will be redeemed without money.”
For 1 “ My people went down at the first into Egypt to live there; 2 and the Assyrian has oppressed them without cause. 1
“ Now 2 “ seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? 1 Those who rule over them mock,” says Yahweh, 2 “ and my name is blasphemed continually all day long. 1
Therefore 2 Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks. 2 Behold, it is I.” 1
How 2 who publishes peace, 2 who brings good news, 2 who proclaims salvation, 2 who says to Zion, “ Your God reigns!” 1
Your 2 Together they sing; 2 for they shall see eye to eye when Yahweh returns to Zion. 1
Break 2 Sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem; 2 for Yahweh has comforted his people. 2 He has redeemed Jerusalem. 1
Yahweh 2 All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. 1
Depart 2 Go out from among her! 2 Cleanse yourselves, you who carry Yahweh’s vessels. 1
For 2 neither shall you go by flight; 1 for Yahweh will go before you, 2 and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. 1
Behold 2 He will be exalted and lifted up, 2 and will be very high. 1
Just as 2 his appearance was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men— 1
so 2 Kings will shut their mouths at him; 2 for they will see that which had not been told them, 2 and they will understand that which they had not heard.
