Isaiah 62
1For 2 and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, 1 until her righteousness shines out like the dawn, 2 and her salvation like a burning lamp. 1
2The 2 and all kings your glory. 1 You will be called by a new name, 2 which Yahweh’s mouth will name. 1
3You 2 and a royal diadem in your God’s hand. 1
4You 2 nor will your land be called Desolate any more; 1 but you will be called Hephzibah, + 62:4 Hephzibah means “I delight in her”. 2 and your land Beulah; + 62:4 Beulah means “married” 1 for Yahweh delights in you, 2 and your land will be married. 1
5For 2 so your sons will marry you. 1 As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, 2 so your God will rejoice over you. 1
6I 2 They will never be silent day nor night. 1 You who call on Yahweh, take no rest, 2
7and 2 and until he makes Jerusalem a praise on the earth. 1
8Yahweh 2 and by the arm of his strength, 1 “ Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies, 2 and foreigners will not drink your new wine, for which you have labored, 1
9but 2 Those who have gathered it will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.” 1
10Go 2 Prepare the way of the people! 1 Build up, build up the highway! 2 Gather out the stones! 2 Lift up a banner for the peoples. 1
11Behold 2 “Say to the daughter of Zion, 2 ‘ Behold, your salvation comes! 1 Behold, his reward is with him, 2 and his recompense before him!’” 1
12They 2 Yahweh’s Redeemed”. 1 You will be called “ Sought Out, 2 A City Not Forsaken”.
