Job 41
“ Can 2 or press down his tongue with a cord? 1
Can 2 or pierce his jaw through with a hook? 1
Will 2 or will he speak soft words to you? 1
Will 2 that you should take him for a servant forever? 1
Will 2 Or will you bind him for your girls? 1
Will 2 Will they part him among the merchants? 1
Can you fill his 2 or his head with fish spears? 1
Lay your 2 Remember the battle, and do so no more. 1
Behold 2 Won’t one be cast down even at the sight of him? 1
None is 2 Who then is he who can stand before me? 1
Who 2 Everything under the heavens is mine. 1
“ I 2 nor his mighty strength, nor his goodly frame. 1
Who 2 Who will come within his jaws? 1
Who can open 2 Around his teeth is terror. 1
Strong 2 shut up together with a close seal. 1
One is 2 that no air can come between them. 1
They 2 They stick together, so that they can’t be pulled apart. 1
His 2 His eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. 1
Out 2 Sparks of fire leap out. 1
Out 2 as of a boiling pot over a fire of reeds. 1
His 2 A flame goes out of his mouth. 1
There 2 Terror dances before him. 1
The 2 They are firm on him. 2 They can’t be moved. 1
His 2 yes, firm as the lower millstone. 1
When 2 They retreat before his thrashing. 1
If 2 nor the spear, the dart, nor the pointed shaft. 1
He counts iron as straw, 2 and bronze as rotten wood. 1
The arrow can’t make him flee. 2 Sling stones are like chaff to him. 1
Clubs are counted as stubble. 2 He laughs at the rushing of the javelin. 1
His undersides are like sharp potsherds, 2 leaving a trail in the mud like a threshing sledge. 1
He makes the deep to boil like a 2 He makes the sea like a pot of ointment. 1
He makes a 2 One would think the deep had white hair. 1
On earth there is not his equal, 2 that is made without fear. 1
He sees everything that is high. 2 He is king over all the sons of pride.”
