Jeremiah 15

Then

It 1 “ Such as are for death, to death; 1 such as are for the sword, to the sword; 1 such as are for the famine, to the famine; 1 and such as are for captivity, to captivity.”’

“ I

I 1

For 2 Who will mourn you? 2 Who will come to ask of your welfare? 1

You 2 “ You have gone backward. 1 Therefore I have stretched out my hand against you 2 and destroyed you. 2 I am weary of showing compassion. 1

I 2 I have bereaved them of children. 1 I have destroyed my people. 2 They didn’t return from their ways. 1

Their 2 I have brought on them against the mother of the young men a destroyer at noonday. 2 I have caused anguish and terrors to fall on her suddenly. 1

She 2 She has given up the spirit. 1 Her sun has gone down while it was yet day. 2 She has been disappointed and confounded. 2 I will deliver their residue to the sword before their enemies,” says the LORD. 1

Woe is 2 and a man of contention to the whole earth! 1 I have not lent, neither have men lent to me; 2 yet every one of them curses me.

The 1 “ Most certainly I will strengthen you for good. 2 Most certainly I will cause the enemy to make supplication to you in the time of evil 2 and in the time of affliction. 1

Can one break 2 even iron from the north, and bronze? 1

I 2 and that for all your sins, 2 even in all your borders. 1

I 2 for a fire is kindled in my anger, 2 which will burn on you.” 1

LORD 2 Remember me, visit me, 2 and avenge me of my persecutors. 1 You are patient, so don’t take me away. 2 Know that for your sake I have suffered reproach. 1

Your 2 and I ate them. 1 Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, 2 for I am called by your name, LORD, God of Armies. 1

I 2 I sat alone because of your hand, 2 for you have filled me with indignation. 1

Why 2 and my wound incurable, 2 which refuses to be healed? 1 Will you indeed be to me as a deceitful brook, 2 like waters that fail?

Therefore 1 “ If you return, then I will bring you again, 2 that you may stand before me; 1 and if you take out the precious from the vile, 2 you will be as my mouth. 1 They will return to you, 2 but you will not return to them. 1

I 2 They will fight against you, 2 but they will not prevail against you; 1 for I am with you to save you 2 and to deliver you,” says the LORD. 1

“ I 2 and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible.”
