Job 35
1Moreover Elihu answered 1
2“Do you 2 or do you say, ‘ My righteousness is more than God’s,’ 1
3that 2 What profit will I have, more than if I had sinned?’ 1
4I will 2 and your companions with you. 1
5Look 2 See the skies, which are higher than you. 1
6If 2 If your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him? 1
7If you 2 Or what does he receive from your hand? 1
8Your 2 and your righteousness may profit a son of man. 1
9“ By 2 They cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty. 1
10But 2 who gives songs in the night, 1
11who teaches us 2 and makes us wiser than the birds of the sky?’ 1
12There 2 because of the pride of evil men. 1
13Surely 2 neither will the Almighty regard it. 1
14How 2 The cause is before him, and you wait for him! 1
15But 2 neither does he greatly regard arrogance, 1
16therefore Job opens 2 and he multiplies words without knowledge.”
