1Unless 2 they who build it labor in vain. 1 Unless the LORD watches over the city, 2 the watchman guards it in vain. 1

2It 2 to stay up late, 2 eating the bread of toil, 2 for he gives sleep to his loved ones. 1

3Behold 2 The fruit of the womb is his reward. 1

4As 2 so are the children of youth. 1

5Happy is 2 They won’t be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.
