Isaiah 56
The 1 “ Maintain justice 2 and do what is right, 1 for my salvation is near 2 and my righteousness will soon be revealed. 1
Blessed is 2 and the son of man who holds it fast; 1 who keeps the Sabbath without profaning it 2 and keeps his hand from doing any evil.” 1
Let no foreigner 2 “ The LORD will surely separate me from his people.” 2 Do not let the eunuch say, “ Behold, I am a dry tree.” 1
For 2 choose the things that please me, 2 and hold fast to my covenant, 1
I 2 I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off. 1
Also 2 to serve him, 1 and to love the LORD’s name, 2 to be his servants, 1 everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, 2 and holds fast my covenant, 1
I 2 and make them joyful in my house of prayer. 1 Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; 2 for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” 1
The 2 “ I will yet gather others to him, 2 in addition to his own who are gathered.” 1
All 2 come to devour, 2 all you animals in the forest. 1
His 2 They are all without knowledge. 1 They are all mute dogs. 2 They can’t bark— 2 dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber. 1
Yes, the 2 They can never have enough. 1 They are shepherds who can’t understand. 2 They have all turned to their own way, 2 each one to his gain, from every quarter. 1
“ Come 2 and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; 2 and tomorrow will be as today, 2 great beyond measure.”
