6For 1 “ You are Gilead to me, 2 the head of Lebanon. 1 Yet surely I will make you a wilderness, 2 cities which are not inhabited. 1
7I 2 everyone with his weapons, 1 and they will cut down your choice cedars, 2 and cast them into the fire.
8“ Many
9Then 1
10Don’t weep 2 Don’t bemoan him; 1 but weep bitterly for him who goes away, 2 for he will return no more, 2 and not see his native country.
11For
12But 1
13“ Woe 2 and his rooms by injustice; 1 who uses his neighbor’s service without wages, 2 and doesn’t give him his hire; 1
14who 2 and cuts out windows for himself, 1 with a cedar ceiling, 2 and painted with red. 1
15“ Should 2 Didn’t your father eat and drink, 2 and do justice and righteousness? 2 Then it was well with him. 1
16He 2 so then it was well. 1 Wasn’t this to know me?” 2 says the LORD. 1
17But 2 for shedding innocent blood, 2 for oppression, and for doing violence.”
18Therefore 1 “ They won’t lament for him, 2 saying, ‘ Ah my brother!’ or, ‘ Ah sister!’ 1 They won’t lament for him, 2 saying ‘ Ah lord!’ or, ‘ Ah his glory!’ 1
19He 2 drawn and cast out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.” 1
20“ Go 2 Lift up your voice in Bashan, 1 and cry from Abarim; 2 for all your lovers have been destroyed. 1
21I 2 but you said, ‘ I will not listen.’ 1 This has been your way from your youth, 2 that you didn’t obey my voice. 1
22The 2 and your lovers will go into captivity. 1 Surely then you will be ashamed 2 and confounded for all your wickedness. 1
23Inhabitant 2 who makes your nest in the cedars, 1 how greatly to be pitied you will be when pangs come on you, 2 the pain as of a woman in travail!

28Is 2 Is he a vessel in which no one delights? 1 Why are they cast out, he and his offspring, 2 and cast into a land which they don’t know? 1
29O 2 hear the LORD’s word! 1
30The 2 “ Record this man as childless, 2 a man who will not prosper in his days; 1 for no more will a man of his offspring prosper, 2 sitting on David’s throne 2 and ruling in Judah.”
