Isaiah 48

“ Hear 2 you who are called by the name of Israel, 2 and have come out of the waters of Judah. 1 You swear by the LORD’s name, 2 and make mention of the God of Israel, 2 but not in truth, nor in righteousness— 1

for 2 and rely on the God of Israel; 2 the LORD of Hosts is his name. 1

I 2 Yes, they went out of my mouth, and I revealed them. 2 I did them suddenly, and they happened. 1

Because 2 and your neck is an iron sinew, 2 and your brow bronze; 1

therefore 2 before it came to pass I showed it to you; 2 lest you should say, ‘ My idol has done them. 2 My engraved image and my molten image has commanded them.’ 1

You 2 Now see all this. 2 And you, won’t you declare it? 1 “ I have shown you new things from this time, 2 even hidden things, which you have not known. 1

They 2 Before today, you didn’t hear them, 2 lest you should say, ‘ Behold, I knew them.’ 1

Yes 2 Yes, you didn’t know. 2 Yes, from of old your ear was not opened, 1 for I knew that you dealt very treacherously, 2 and were called a transgressor from the womb. 1

For 2 and for my praise, I hold it back for you 2 so that I don’t cut you off. 1

Behold 2 but not as silver. 2 I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction. 1

For 2 for my own sake, I will do it; 1 for how would my name be profaned? 2 I will not give my glory to another. 1

“ Listen 2 and Israel my called: 1 I am he. 2 I am the first. 2 I am also the last. 1

Yes, my 2 and my right hand has spread out the heavens. 2 when I call to them, they stand up together. 1

“ Assemble 2 Who amongst them has declared these things? 1 He whom the LORD loves will do what he likes to Babylon, 2 and his arm will be against the Kasdim. 1

I 2 Yes, I have called him. 1 I have brought him 2 and he shall make his way prosperous.

“ Come 1 “ From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; 2 from the time that it happened, I was there.” 1 Now the Lord GOD has sent me 2 with his Spirit. 1

The 2 your Redeemer, 2 the Holy One of Israel, says: 1 “ I am the LORD your God, 2 who teaches you to profit, 2 who leads you by the way that you should go. 1

Oh 2 Then your peace would have been like a river 2 and your righteousness like the waves of the sea. 1

Your 2 and the descendants of your body like its grains. 2 His name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before me.” 1

Leave 2 Flee from the Kasdim! 1 With the sound of joyful shouting announce this, 2 tell it even to the end of the earth; 2 say, “ The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob!” 1

They 2 He caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them. 2 He also split the rock and the waters gushed out. 1

“ There
