Hosea 14
O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; 1 For thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. 1
Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: 1 Say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: 1 So will we render the calves of our lips. 1
Asshur shall not save us: we will not ride upon horses: 1 Neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: 1 For in thee the fatherless findeth mercy. 1
I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: 1 For mine anger is turned away from him. 1
I will be as the dew unto Israel: 1 He shall grow as the lily, 1 And cast forth his roots as Lebanon. 1
His branches shall spread, 1 And his beauty shall be as the olive tree, 1 And his smell as Lebanon. 1
They that dwell under his shadow shall return; 1 They shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: 1 The sent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. 1
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? 1 I have heard him, and observed him: 1 I am like a green fir tree. 1 From me is thy fruit found. 1
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? 1 Prudent, and he shall know them? 1 For the ways of the Lord are right, 1 And the just shall walk in them: 1 But the transgressors shall fall therein.
