Psalms 22

1My 2 Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning? 1

2My 2 in the night season, and am not silent. 1

3But 2 you who inhabit the praises of Israel. 1

4Our 2 They trusted, and you delivered them. 1

5They cried to you, and were delivered 2 They trusted in you, and were not disappointed. 1

6But 2 a reproach of men, and despised by the people. 1

7All those who 2 They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying, 2

8“ He 2 Let him deliver him. 2 Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.” 1

9But 2 You made me trust while at my mother’s breasts. 1

10I 2 You are my God since my mother bore me. 1

11Don’t be far 2 For there is no one to help. 1

12Many bulls have 2 Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me. 1

13They open their 2 lions tearing prey and roaring. 1

14I 2 All my bones are out of joint. 1 My heart is like wax. 2 It is melted within me. 1

15My 2 My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. 1 You have brought me into the dust of death. 1

17I 1 They look and stare at me. 1

18They 2 They cast lots for my clothing. 1

19But 2 You are my help. Hurry to help me! 1

20Deliver my 2 my precious life from the power of the dog. 1

21Save 2 Yes, you have rescued me from the horns of the wild oxen. 1

22I will 2 Among the assembly, I will praise you. 1

23You 2 All you descendants of Jacob, glorify him! 2 Stand in awe of him, all you descendants of Israel! 1

24For 2 neither has he hidden his face from him; 2 but when he cried to him, he heard. 1

25My 2 I will pay my vows before those who fear him. 1

26The 2 They shall praise the LORD who seek after him. 2 Let your hearts live forever. 1

27All 2 All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you. 1

28For 2 He is the ruler over the nations. 1

29All 2 All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, 2 even he who can’t keep his soul alive. 1

30Posterity shall 2 Future generations shall be told about the Lord. 1

31They 2 for he has done it.
