Psalms 89
1I will sing of 2 With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations. 1
2I 2 You established the heavens. 2 Your faithfulness is in them.” 1
3“ I 2 I have sworn to David, my servant, 1
4‘ I 2 and build up your throne to all generations.’” Selah. 1
5The 2 your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones. 1
6For 2 Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like the LORD, 1
7a 2 to be feared above all those who are around him? 1
8LORD 2 LORD, your faithfulness is around you. 1
9You 2 When its waves rise up, you calm them. 1
10You have 2 You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm. 1
11The 2 The earth also is yours, 2 the world and its fullness. 2 You have founded them. 1
12You have created the 2 Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name. 1
13You have 2 Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted. 1
14Righteousness and 2 Loving kindness and truth go before your face. 1
15Blessed are 2 They walk in the light of your presence, LORD. 1
16In 2 In your righteousness, they are exalted. 1
17For 2 In your favor, our horn will be exalted. 1
18For 2 our king to the Holy One of Israel. 1
19Then 2 and said, “ I have given strength to the warrior. 2 I have exalted a young man from the people. 1
20I 2 I have anointed him with my holy oil, 1
21with 2 My arm will also strengthen him. 1
22No enemy will 2 No wicked man will oppress him. 1
23I 2 and strike those who hate him. 1
24But 2 In my name, his horn will be exalted. 1
25I 2 and his right hand on the rivers. 1
26He 2 my God, and the rock of my salvation!’ 1
27I 2 the highest of the kings of the earth. 1
28I 2 My covenant will stand firm with him. 1
29I will 2 and his throne as the days of heaven. 1
30If 2 and don’t walk in my ordinances; 1
31if 2 and don’t keep my commandments; 1
32then 2 and their iniquity with stripes. 1
33But I 2 nor allow my faithfulness to fail. 1
34I 2 nor alter what my lips have uttered. 1
35Once I 2 I will not lie to David. 1
36His 2 his throne like the sun before me. 1
37It 2 the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah. 1
38But you 2 You have been angry with your anointed. 1
39You 2 You have defiled his crown in the dust. 1
40You have 2 You have brought his strongholds to ruin. 1
41All 1 He has become a reproach to his neighbors. 1
42You 2 You have made all of his enemies rejoice. 1
43Yes, you 2 and haven’t supported him in battle. 1
44You 2 and thrown his throne down to the ground. 1
45You 2 You have covered him with shame. Selah. 1
46How long 2 Will you hide yourself forever? 2 Will your wrath burn like fire? 1
47Remember how 2 for what vanity you have created all the children of men! 1

49Lord, where 2 which you swore to David in your faithfulness? 1
50Remember, Lord 2 how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the mighty peoples, 1
51With 2 with which they have mocked the footsteps of your anointed one. 1
