Psalms 106
1Praise 2 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, 2 for his loving kindness endures forever. 1
2Who 2 or fully declare all his praise? 1
3Blessed are 2 Blessed is one who does what is right at all times. 1
4Remember 2 Visit me with your salvation, 1
5that 2 that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, 2 that I may glory with your inheritance. 1
6We have 2 We have committed iniquity. 2 We have done wickedly. 1
7Our 2 They didn’t remember the multitude of your loving kindnesses, 2 but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Sea of Suf. 1
8Nevertheless he 2 that he might make his mighty power known. 1
9He 2 so he led them through the depths, as through a desert. 1
10He 2 and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. 1
11The 2 There was not one of them left. 1
12Then they 2 They sang his praise. 1
13They 2 They didn’t wait for his counsel, 2
14but gave in to 2 and tested God in the wasteland. 1
15He 2 but sent leanness into their soul. 1
16They 2 and Aaron, the LORD’s holy one. 1
17The 2 and covered the company of Abiram. 1
18A 2 The flame burnt up the wicked. 1
19They 2 and worshipped a molten image. 1
20Thus they 2 for an image of a bull that eats grass. 1
21They 2 who had done great things in Egypt, 2
22wondrous 2 and awesome things by the Sea of Suf. 1
23Therefore 2 had Moses, his chosen, not stood before him in the breach, 2 to turn away his wrath, so that he wouldn’t destroy them. 1
24Yes, they 2 They didn’t believe his word, 2
25but 2 and didn’t listen to the LORD’s voice. 1
26Therefore he 2 that he would overthrow them in the wilderness, 2
27that 2 and scatter them in the lands. 1
28They joined 2 and ate the sacrifices of the dead. 1
29Thus they provoked 2 The plague broke in on them. 1
30Then 2 so the plague was stopped. 1
31That 2 for all generations to come. 1
32They 2 so that Moses was troubled for their sakes; 1
33because 2 he spoke rashly with his lips. 1
34They 2 as the LORD commanded them, 2
35but mixed themselves with 2 and learnt their works. 1
36They 2 which became a snare to them. 1
37Yes, they sacrificed 2
38They 2 even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, 2 whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. 2 The land was polluted with blood. 1
39Thus they were defiled 2 and prostituted themselves in their deeds. 1
40Therefore 2 He abhorred his inheritance. 1
41He 2 Those who hated them ruled over them. 1
42Their 2 They were brought into subjection under their hand. 1
43He rescued 2 but they were rebellious in their counsel, 2 and were brought low in their iniquity. 1
44Nevertheless he 2 when he heard their cry. 1
45He 2 and repented according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses. 1
46He 2 by all those who carried them captive. 1
47Save 2 gather us from amongst the nations, 2 to give thanks to your holy name, 2 to triumph in your praise! 1
48Blessed 2 from everlasting even to everlasting! 1 Let all the people say, “Amen.” 2 Praise the LORD!
