Psalms 88
LORD 2 I have cried day and night before you. 1
Let my 2 Turn your ear to my cry. 1
For 2 My life draws near to Sheol. + 88:3 Sheol is the place of the dead. 1
I 2 I am like a man who has no help, 2
set apart amongst the 2 like the slain who lie in the grave, 2 whom you remember no more. 2 They are cut off from your hand. 1
You 2 in the darkest depths. 1
Your 2 You have afflicted me with all your waves. Selah. 1
You 2 You have made me an abomination to them. 2 I am confined, and I can’t escape. 1
My 2 I have called on you daily, LORD. 2 I have spread out my hands to you. 1
Do 2 Do the departed spirits rise up and praise you? Selah. 1
Is 2 Or your faithfulness in Destruction? 1
Are 2 Or your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? 1
But to 2 In the morning, my prayer comes before you. 1
LORD 2 Why do you hide your face from me? 1
I 2 While I suffer your terrors, I am distracted. 1
Your 2 Your terrors have cut me off. 1
They 2 They completely engulfed me. 1
You 2 and my friends into darkness.
