Psalms 71
1In 2 Never let me be disappointed. 1
2Deliver 2 Turn your ear to me, and save me. 1
3Be 2 Give the command to save me, 2 for you are my rock and my fortress. 1
4Rescue 2 from the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. 1
5For 2 my confidence from my youth. 1
6I 2 You are he who took me out of my mother’s womb. 2 I will always praise you. 1
7I 2 but you are my strong refuge. 1
8My 2 with your honour all day long. 1
9Don’t reject 2 Don’t forsake me when my strength fails. 1
10For 2 Those who watch for my soul conspire together, 2
11saying, “God has 2 Pursue and take him, for no one will rescue him.” 1
12God, don’t be 2 My God, hurry to help me. 1
13Let 2 Let them be covered with disgrace and scorn who want to harm me. 1
14But 2 and will add to all of your praise. 1
15My 2 and of your salvation all day, 2 though I don’t know its full measure. 1
16I 2 I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours alone. 1
17God, you 2 Until now, I have declared your wondrous works. 1
18Yes 2 until I have declared your strength to the next generation, 2 your might to everyone who is to come. 1
19God 2 You have done great things. 2 God, who is like you? 1
20You 2 you will let me live. 2 You will bring us up again from the depths of the earth. 1
21Increase 2 and comfort me again. 1
22I 2 I sing praises to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel. 1
23My 2 My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you! 1
24My 2 for they are disappointed, and they are confounded, 2 who want to harm me.
