Micah 3

And I said: 1 Hear, O Rashei Ya'akov, 1 and ye Ketzinim of Bais Yisroel. 1 Is it not for you to have da'as of Mishpat (Justice)? 1

Who hate the tov, and love the rah; 1 who tear off their skin from off them, 1 and their flesh from off their atzamot (bones); 1

Who also eat the flesh of Ami, 1 and flay their skin from off them; 1 and they break their atzamot, 1 and chop them in pieces, like for the pot, 1 and like the basar within the caldron. 1

Then shall they cry unto Hashem, 1 but He will not hear them; 1 He will even hide His face from them at that time, 1 because of the evil way they behaved themselves in their doings. 1

Thus saith Hashem concerning the nevi'im that make Ami err, leading them astray, 1 the nevi'im that bite with their teeth, and preach: Shalom! 1 And whoever putteth nothing into their mouths, 1 v'kiddeshu milchamah (they sanctify war) against him. 1

Therefore lailah shall be unto you, because of the chazon; 1 and choshech shall come upon you because of the soothsaying, the divination; 1 and the shemesh shall go down over the nevi'im, 1 and hayom shall be dark over them. 1

Then shall the chozim (seers) be ashamed, 1 and the kosemim (diviners) blush in bushah; 1 yea, they shall all cover their safam (mustache); + 3:7 i.e., their lips 1 ki ein ma'aneh Elohim (for there is no answer of G-d). 1

But truly I am full of ko'ach 1 by the Ruach + 3:8 Hakodesh of Hashem, and of mishpat, and of gevurah (might), 1 to preach unto Ya'akov his peysha, 1 and to Yisroel his chattat. + 3:8 Isa 53:5,8,12 1

Hear this, I pray you, ye Rashei Bais Ya'akov, 1 and Ketzinim of Bais Yisroel, 1 that abhor mishpat, 1 and twist kol haYesharah (all the right, the straight). 1

Boneh Tziyon b'damim (they build up Tziyon with blood), 1 and Yerushalayim with avlah (iniquity). 1

Her Rashim judge for a bribe, 1 and her kohanim play the hireling moreh (teacher), 1 and her nevi'im are fortune-tellers for kesef; 1 yet will they lean upon Hashem? And say: 1 Is not Hashem among us? 1 No ra'ah will come upon us. 1

Therefore because of you, Tziyon shall be plowed as a sadeh, 1 and Yerushalayim shall become a rubble heap, 1 and the Har HaBeis + 3:12 HaMikdash, i.e., the Temple Mount shall become a mound of scrubs.
