Isaiah 31

Woe 2 and rely on horses, 2 and trust in chariots because they are many, 2 and in horsemen because they are very strong, 2 but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, 2 and they don’t seek the LORD! 1

Yet 2 and will not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers, 2 and against the help of those who work iniquity. 1

Now 2 and their horses flesh, and not spirit. 1 When the LORD stretches out his hand, both he who helps shall stumble, 2 and he who is helped shall fall, 2 and they all shall be consumed together. 1

For 1 “ As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, 2 if a multitude of shepherds is called together against him, 2 will not be dismayed at their voice, 2 nor abase himself for their noise, 2 so the LORD of Hosts will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its heights. 1

As 2 He will protect and deliver it. 2 He will pass over and preserve it.” 1

Return

For

“ The 2 and the sword, not of mankind, shall devour him. 1 He will flee from the sword, 2 and his young men will become subject to forced labor. 1

His 2 and his princes will be afraid of the banner,” 1 says the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, 2 and his furnace in Jerusalem.
