Isaiah 50
The 2 Or to which of my creditors have I sold you? 1 Behold, you were sold for your iniquities, 2 and your mother was put away for your transgressions. 1
Why 2 When I called, why was there no one to answer? 1 Is my hand shortened at all, that it can’t redeem? 2 Or have I no power to deliver? 1 Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea. 2 I make the rivers a wilderness. 2 Their fish stink because there is no water, and die of thirst. 1
I 2 I make sackcloth their covering.” 1
The 2 that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary. 1 He awakens morning by morning, 2 he awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught. 1
The 2 I was not rebellious. 2 I have not turned back. 1
I 2 and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair. 2 I didn’t hide my face from shame and spitting. 1
For 2 Therefore I have not been confounded. 1 Therefore I have set my face like a flint, 2 and I know that I won’t be disappointed. 1
He 2 Who will bring charges against me? 1 Let us stand up together. 2 Who is my adversary? 2 Let him come near to me. 1
Behold 2 Who is he who will condemn me? 1 Behold, they will all grow old like a garment. 2 The moths will eat them up. 1
Who 2 and obeys the voice of his servant? 1 He who walks in darkness 2 and has no light, 1 let him trust in the LORD’s name, 2 and rely on his God. 1
Behold 2 who adorn yourselves with torches around yourselves, 1 walk in the flame of your fire, 2 and among the torches that you have kindled. 1 You will have this from my hand: 2 you will lie down in sorrow.
