Isaiah 65

“ I 2 I am found by those who didn’t seek me. 2 I said, ‘ See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name. 1

I 2 who walk in a way that is not good, 2 after their own thoughts; 1

a 2 sacrificing in gardens, 2 and burning incense on bricks; 1

who 2 and spend nights in secret places; 1 who eat pig’s meat, 2 and broth of abominable things is in their vessels; 1

who 2 don’t come near to me, 2 for I am holier than you.’ 1 These are smoke in my nose, 2 a fire that burns all day. 1

“ Behold 2 I will not keep silence, 2 but will repay, 2 yes, I will repay into their bosom 1

your 2 “ who have burned incense on the mountains, 2 and blasphemed me on the hills. 2 Therefore I will first measure their work into their bosom.”

The 1 “ As the new wine is found in the cluster, 2 and one says, ‘Don’t destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’ 1 so I will do for my servants’ sake, 2 that I may not destroy them all. 1

I 2 and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains. 1 My chosen will inherit it, 2 and my servants will dwell there. 1

Sharon 2 and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, 2 for my people who have sought me. 1

“ But 2 who forget my holy mountain, 2 who prepare a table for Fortune, 2 and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny; 1

I 2 and you will all bow down to the slaughter; 1 because when I called, you didn’t answer. 2 When I spoke, you didn’t listen; 1 but you did that which was evil in my eyes, 2 and chose that in which I didn’t delight.”

Therefore 1 “ Behold, my servants will eat, 2 but you will be hungry; 1 behold, my servants will drink, 2 but you will be thirsty. 1 Behold, my servants will rejoice, 2 but you will be disappointed. 1

Behold 2 but you will cry for sorrow of heart, 2 and will wail for anguish of spirit. 1

You 2 and the Lord GOD will kill you. 1 He will call his servants by another name, 2

so 2 and he who swears on the earth will swear by the God of truth; 1 because the former troubles are forgotten, 2 and because they are hidden from my eyes. 1

“ For 2 and the former things will not be remembered, 2 nor come into mind. 1

But 2 for, behold, I create Jerusalem to be a delight, 2 and her people a joy. 1

I 2 and delight in my people; 1 and the voice of weeping and the voice of crying 2 will be heard in her no more. 1

“ No 2 nor an old man who has not filled his days; 1 for the child will die one hundred years old, 2 and the sinner being one hundred years old will be accursed. 1

They will 2 They will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. 1

They 2 They will not plant and another eat; 1 for the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, 2 and my chosen will long enjoy the work of their hands. 1

They 2 nor give birth for calamity; 1 for they are the offspring of the LORD’s blessed 2 and their descendants with them. 1

It 2 and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. 1

The 2 The lion will eat straw like the ox. 2 Dust will be the serpent’s food. 1 They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” 2 says the LORD.
