Psalms 86

1Hear 2 for I am poor and needy. 1

2Preserve 2 You, my God, save your servant who trusts in you. 1

3Be 2 for I call to you all day long. 1

4Bring 2 for to you, Lord, do I lift up my soul. 1

5For 2 abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you. 1

6Hear 2 Listen to the voice of my petitions. 1

7In 2 for you will answer me. 1

8There is 2 nor any deeds like your deeds. 1

9All 2 They shall glorify your name. 1

10For 2 You are God alone. 1

11Teach 2 I will walk in your truth. 2 Make my heart undivided to fear your name. 1

12I 2 I will glorify your name forever more. 1

13For 2 You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. + 86:13 Sheol is the place of the dead. 1

14God 2 A company of violent men have sought after my soul, 2 and they don’t hold regard for you before them. 1

15But 2 slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth. 1

16Turn 2 Give your strength to your servant. 2 Save the son of your servant. 1

17Show 2 that those who hate me may see it, and be shamed, 2 because you, Yahweh, have helped me, and comforted me.
