1Deliver me, Yahweh 2 Preserve me from violent men: 1
2those who 2 They continually gather themselves together for war. 1
3They 2 Viper’s poison is under their lips. Selah. 1
4Yahweh 2 Preserve me from the violent men who have determined to trip my feet. 1
5The 2 they have spread the cords of a net by the path. 2 They have set traps for me. Selah. 1
6I 2 Listen to the cry of my petitions, Yahweh. 1
7Yahweh 2 you have covered my head in the day of battle. 1
8Yahweh 2 Don’t let their evil plans succeed, or they will become proud. Selah. 1
9As 2 let the mischief of their own lips cover them. 1
10Let burning coals fall on 2 Let them be thrown into the fire, 2 into miry pits, from where they never rise. 1
11An 2 Evil will hunt the violent man to overthrow him. 1
