Job 20
1Then 1
2Therefore 1 Even by reason of my haste that is in me. 1
3I 1 And the spirit of my understanding answereth me. 1
4Knowest 1 Since man was placed upon earth, 1
5That 1 And the joy of the godless but for a moment? 1
6Though his 1 And his head reach unto the clouds; 1
7Yet he 1 They that have seen him shall say, Where is he? 1
8He 1 Yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night. 1
9The 1 Neither shall his place anymore behold him. 1
10His 1 And his hands shall give back his wealth. 1
11His 1 But it shall lie down with him in the dust. 1
12Though wickedness 1 Though he hide it under his tongue, 1
13Though he 1 But keep it still within his mouth; 1
14Yet his 1 It is the gall of asps within him. 1
15He 1 God will cast them out of his belly. 1
16He shall 1 The viper’s tongue shall slay him. 1
17He 1 The flowing streams of honey and butter. 1
18That 1 According to the substance that he hath gotten, he shall not rejoice. 1
19For 1 He hath violently taken away a house, and he shall not build it up. 1
20Because 1 He shall not save aught of that wherein he delighteth. 1
21There was 1 Therefore his prosperity shall not endure. 1
22In 1 The hand of everyone that is in misery shall come upon him. 1
23When 1 God will cast the fierceness of his wrath upon him, 1 And will rain it upon him while he is eating. 1
24He shall 1 And the bow of brass shall strike him through. 1
25He 1 Yea, the glittering point cometh out of his gall: 1 Terrors are upon him. 1
26All 1 A fire not blown by man shall devour him; 1 It shall consume that which is left in his tent. 1
27The 1 And the earth shall rise up against him. 1
28The 1 His goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath. 1
29This 1 And the heritage appointed unto him by God.
