Job 34

Moreover Elihu answered 1

Hear 1 And give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge. 1

For 1 As the palate tasteth food. 1

Let us 1 Let us know among ourselves what is good. 1

For 1 And God hath taken away my right: 1

Notwithstanding my 1 My wound is incurable, though I am without transgression. 1

What 1 Who drinketh up scoffing like water, 1

Who goeth 1 And walketh with wicked men? 1

For 1 That he should delight himself with God. 2

Therefore 1 Far be it from God, that he should do wickedness, 1 And from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity. 1

For 1 And cause every man to find according to his ways. 1

Yea, of 1 Neither will the Almighty pervert justice. 1

Who 1 Or who hath disposed the whole world? 1

If 1 If he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath; 1

All 1 And man shall turn again unto dust. 1

If now 1 Hearken to the voice of my words. 1

Shall 1 And wilt thou condemn him that is righteous and mighty?— 1

Him that 1 Or to nobles, Ye are wicked; 1

That 1 Nor regardeth the rich more than the poor; 1 For they all are the work of his hands. 1

In 1 The people are shaken and pass away, 1 And the mighty are taken away without hand. 1

For 1 And he seeth all his goings. 1

There 1 Where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. 1

For 1 That he should go before God in judgment. 1

He 1 And setteth others in their stead. 1

Therefore 1 And he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed. 1

He 1 In the open sight of others; 1

Because 1 And would not have regard in any of his ways: 1

So 1 And he heard the cry of the afflicted. 1

When 1 And when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? 1 Alike whether it be done unto a nation, or unto a man: 1

That 1 That there be none to ensnare the people. 2

For 1 I have borne chastisement, I will not offend anymore: 1

That 1 If I have done iniquity, I will do it no more? 1

Shall 1 For thou must choose, and not I: 1 Therefore speak what thou knowest. 1

Men 1 Yea, every wise man that heareth me: 1

Job 1 And his words are without wisdom. 1

Would that 1 Because of his answering like wicked men. 1

For 1 He clappeth his hands among us, 1 And multiplieth his words against God.
