Job 30
But 1 Whose fathers I disdained to set with the dogs of my flock. 1
Yea 1 Men in whom ripe age is perished. 1
They 1 They gnaw the dry ground, in the gloom of wasteness and desolation. 1
They 1 And the roots of the broom are their food. 1
They 1 They cry after them as after a thief; 1
So that 1 In holes of the earth and of the rocks. 1
Among 1 Under the nettles they are gathered together. 1
They are children 1 They were scourged out of the land. 1
And 1 Yea, I am a byword unto them. 1
They 1 And spare not to spit in my face. 1
For 1 And they have cast off the bridle before me. 1
Upon 1 They thrust aside my feet, 1 And they cast up against me their ways of destruction. 1
They 1 They set forward my calamity, 1 Even men that have no helper. 1
As 1 In the midst of the ruin they roll themselves upon me. 1
Terrors 1 They chase mine honor as the wind; 1 And my welfare is passed away as a cloud. 2
And 1 Days of affliction have taken hold upon me. 1
In 1 And the pains that gnaw me take no rest. 1
By God’s great 1 It bindeth me about as the collar of my coat. 1
He 1 And I am become like dust and ashes. 1
I 1 I stand up, and thou gazest at me. 1
Thou 1 With the might of thy hand thou persecutest me. 1
Thou liftest me up 1 And thou dissolvest me in the storm. 1
For 1 And to the house appointed for all living. 1
Howbeit doth not 1 Or in his calamity therefore cry for help? 1
Did 1 Was not my soul grieved for the needy? 1
When 1 And when I waited for light, there came darkness. 1
My 1 Days of affliction are come upon me. 1
I 1 I stand up in the assembly, and cry for help. 1
I 1 And a companion to ostriches. 1
My 1 And my bones are burned with heat. 1
Therefore 1 And my pipe into the voice of them that weep.
