Job 40

1Moreover Jehovah 1

2Shall he that 1 He that argueth with God, let him answer it.

3Then 1

4Behold 1 I lay my hand upon my mouth. 1

5Once 1 Yea, twice, but I will proceed no further.

6Then 1

7Gird up thy 1 I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. 1

8Wilt thou even annul 1 Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified? 1

9Or 1 And canst thou thunder with a voice like him? 1

10Deck 1 And array thyself with honor and majesty. 1

11Pour 1 And look upon everyone that is proud, and abase him. 1

12Look 1 And tread down the wicked where they stand. 1

13Hide 1 Bind their faces in the hidden place. 1

14Then 1 That thine own right hand can save thee. 2

15Behold 1 He eateth grass as an ox. 1

16Lo 1 And his force is in the muscles of his belly. 1

17He 1 The sinews of his thighs are knit together. 1

18His bones 1 His limbs are like bars of iron. 1

19He 1 He only that made him giveth him his sword. 1

20Surely 1 Where all the beasts of the field do play. 1

21He 1 In the covert of the reed, and the fen. 1

22The 1 The willows of the brook compass him about. 1

23Behold 1 He is confident, though a Jordan swell even to his mouth. 1

24Shall 1 Or pierce through his nose with a snare?
