Job 36
Elihu also 1
Suffer 1 For I have yet somewhat to say on God’s behalf. 1
I 1 And will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. 1
For 1 One that is perfect in knowledge is with thee. 1
Behold 1 He is mighty in strength of understanding. 1
He 1 But giveth to the afflicted their right. 1
He 1 But with kings upon the throne 1 He setteth them forever, and they are exalted. 1
And 1 And be taken in the cords of affliction; 1
Then 1 And their transgressions, that they have behaved themselves proudly. 1
He 1 And commandeth that they return from iniquity. 1
If they 1 They shall spend their days in prosperity, 1 And their years in pleasures. 1
But 1 And they shall die without knowledge. 1
But 1 They cry not for help when he bindeth them. 1
They 1 And their life perisheth among the unclean. 1
He delivereth 1 And openeth their ear in oppression. 1
Yea, he 1 Into a broad place, where there is no straitness; 1 And that which is set on thy table would be full of fatness. 2
But 1 Judgment and justice take hold on thee. 1
For 1 Neither let the greatness of the ransom turn thee aside. 1
Will 1 Or all the forces of thy strength? 1
Desire 1 When peoples are cut off in their place. 1
Take 1 For this hast thou chosen rather than affliction. 1
Behold 1 Who is a teacher like unto him? 1
Who 1 Or who can say, Thou hast wrought unrighteousness? 2
Remember 1 Whereof men have sung. 1
All 1 Man beholdeth it afar off. 1
Behold 1 The number of his years is unsearchable. 1
For 1 Which distill in rain from his vapor, 1
Which 1 And drop upon man abundantly. 1
Yea, can any understand the spreadings 1 The thunderings of his pavilion? 1
Behold 1 And he covereth the bottom of the sea. 1
For 1 He giveth food in abundance. 1
He 1 And giveth it a charge that it strike the mark. 1
The 1 The cattle also concerning the storm that cometh up.
