Job 24
Why 1 And why do not they that know him see his days? 1
There are 1 They violently take away flocks, and feed them. 1
They 1 They take the widow’s ox for a pledge. 1
They 1 The poor of the earth all hide themselves. 1
Behold 1 They go forth to their work, seeking diligently for food; 1 The wilderness yieldeth them bread for their children. 1
They cut their 1 And they glean the vintage of the wicked. 1
They 1 And have no covering in the cold. 1
They are 1 And embrace the rock for want of a shelter. 1
There are 1 And take a pledge of the poor; 1
So that they 1 And being hungry they carry the sheaves. 1
They 1 They tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst. 1
From 1 And the soul of the wounded crieth out: 1 Yet God regardeth not the folly. 1

The 1 He killeth the poor and needy; 1 And in the night he is as a thief. 1

In 1 They shut themselves up in the daytime; 1 They know not the light. 1
For 1 For they know the terrors of the thick darkness. 2
Swiftly 1 Their portion is cursed in the earth: 1 They turn not into the way of the vineyards. 1
Drought 1 So doth Sheol those that have sinned. 1
The 1 The worm shall feed sweetly on him; 1 He shall be no more remembered; 1 And unrighteousness shall be broken as a tree. 1
He 1 And doeth not good to the widow. 1
Yet 1 He riseth up that hath no assurance of life. 1
God giveth 1 And his eyes are upon their ways. 1
They 1 Yea, they are brought low, they are taken out of the way as all others, 1 And are cut off as the tops of the ears of grain. 1
And 1 And make my speech nothing worth?
