Job 23
1Then 1
2Even 1 My stroke is heavier than my groaning. 1
3Oh 1 That I might come even to his seat! 1
4I 1 And fill my mouth with arguments. 1
5I 1 And understand what he would say unto me. 1
6Would 1 Nay; but he would give heed unto me. 1
7There 1 So should I be delivered forever from my judge. 1
8Behold 1 And backward, but I cannot perceive him; 1
9On 1 He hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him. 2
10But 1 When he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 1
11My 1 His way have I kept, and turned not aside. 1
12I 1 I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. 1
13But 1 And what his soul desireth, even that he doeth. 1
14For 1 And many such things are with him. 1
15Therefore 1 When I consider, I am afraid of him. 1
16For 1 And the Almighty hath terrified me; 1
17Because 1 Neither did he cover the thick darkness from my face.
