Psalms 106

Praise 1 Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; 1 For his lovingkindness endureth forever. 1

Who 1 Or show forth all his praise? 1

Blessed are 1 And he that doeth righteousness at all times. 1

Remember 1 Oh visit me with thy salvation, 1

That 1 That I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, 1 That I may glory with thine inheritance. 1

We have 1 We have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly. 1

Our 1 They remembered not the multitude of thy lovingkindnesses, 1 But were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea. 1

Nevertheless he 1 That he might make his mighty power to be known. 1

He 1 So he led them through the depths, as through a wilderness. 1

And 1 And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. 1

And 1 There was not one of them left. 1

Then believed they 1 They sang his praise. 1

They 1 They waited not for his counsel, 1

But lusted exceedingly 1 And tempted God in the desert. 1

And 1 But sent leanness into their soul. 1

They 1 And Aaron the saint of Jehovah. 1

The 1 And covered the company of Abiram. 1

And 1 The flame burned up the wicked. 1

They 1 And worshiped a molten image. 1

Thus they 1 For the likeness of an ox that eateth grass. 1

They 1 Who had done great things in Egypt, 1

Wondrous 1 And terrible things by the Red Sea. 1

Therefore 1 Had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, 1 To turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them. 1

Yea, they 1 They believed not his word, 1

But 1 And hearkened not unto the voice of Jehovah. 1

Therefore he 1 That he would overthrow them in the wilderness, 1

And 1 And scatter them in the lands. 1

They joined 1 And ate the sacrifices of the dead. 1

Thus they provoked 1 And the plague brake in upon them. 1

Then 1 And so the plague was stayed. 1

And 1 Unto all generations forevermore. 1

They 1 So that it went ill with Moses for their sakes; 1

Because 1 And he spake unadvisedly with his lips. 1

They 1 As Jehovah commanded them, 1

But mingled 1 And learned their works, 1

And 1 Which became a snare unto them. 1

Yea, they sacrificed 1

And 1 Even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, 1 Whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; 1 And the land was polluted with blood. 1

Thus were they defiled 1 And played the harlot in their doings. 1

Therefore 1 And he abhorred his inheritance. 1

And 1 And they that hated them ruled over them. 1

Their 1 And they were brought into subjection under their hand. 1

Many 1 But they were rebellious in their counsel, 1 And were brought low in their iniquity. 1

Nevertheless he 1 When he heard their cry: 1

And 1 And repented according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses. 1

He 1 Of all those that carried them captive. 1

Save 1 And gather us from among the nations, 1 To give thanks unto thy holy name, 1 And to triumph in thy praise. 1

Blessed 1 From everlasting even to everlasting. 1 And let all the people say, Amen. 1 Praise ye Jehovah. 1 BOOK V
