Psalms 22

My 1 Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning? 1

O 1 And in the night season, and am not silent. 1

But 1 O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. 1

Our 1 They trusted, and thou didst deliver them. 1

They cried unto thee, and were delivered 1 They trusted in thee, and were not put to shame. 1

But 1 A reproach of men, and despised of the people. 1

All they 1 They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 1

Commit thyself unto 1 Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him. 1

But 1 Thou didst make me trust when I was upon my mother’s breasts. 1

I 1 Thou art my God since my mother bare me. 1

Be not far 1 For there is none to help. 1

Many bulls have 1 Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. 1

They gape upon me 1 As a ravening and a roaring lion. 1

I 1 And all my bones are out of joint: 1 My heart is like wax; 1 It is melted within me. 1

My 1 And my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; 1 And thou hast brought me into the dust of death. 1

For 1 A company of evildoers have enclosed me; 1 They pierced my hands and my feet. 1

I 1 They look and stare upon me; 1

They 1 And upon my vesture do they cast lots. 1

But 1 O thou my succor, haste thee to help me. 1

Deliver my 1 My darling from the power of the dog. 1

Save 1 Yea, from the horns of the wild oxen thou hast answered me. 1

I will 1 In the midst of the assembly will I praise thee. 1

Ye that 1 All ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; 1 And stand in awe of him, all ye the seed of Israel. 1

For 1 Neither hath he hidden his face from him; 1 But when he cried unto him, he heard. 1

Of 1 I will pay my vows before them that fear him. 1

The 1 They shall praise Jehovah that seek after him: 1 Let your heart live forever. 1

All 1 And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. 1

For 1 And he is the ruler over the nations. 1

All 1 All they that go down to the dust shall bow before him, 1 Even he that cannot keep his soul alive. 1

A 1 It shall be told of the Lord unto the next generation. 1

They 1 Unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done it.
