Psalms 81
1Sing aloud unto God our 1 Make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. 1
2Raise 1 The pleasant harp with the psaltery. 1
3Blow the 1 At the full moon, on our feast day. 1
4For 1 An ordinance of the God of Jacob. 1
5He 1 When he went out over the land of Egypt, 1 Where I heard a language that I knew not. 1
6I 1 His hands were freed from the basket. 1
7Thou calledst in 1 I answered thee in the secret place of thunder; 1 I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah 1
8Hear 1 O Israel, if thou wouldest hearken unto me! 1
9There shall 1 Neither shalt thou worship any foreign god. 1
10I 1 Who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt: 1 Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. 1
11But 1 And Israel would none of me. 1
12So 1 That they might walk in their own counsels. 1
13Oh that 1 That Israel would walk in my ways! 1
14I 1 And turn my hand against their adversaries. 1
15The 1 But their time should endure forever. 1
16He 1 And with honey out of the rock would I satisfy thee.
